Sarianne Hartonen (39) has been appointed Special Adviser to Minister of Transport Merja Kyllönen. She will assume her duties on 4 June 2012.
Hartonen is transferring from her position as Editorial Secretary at the main office of the Finnish Nature League. Her earlier work history includes various roles in the communications field. She has, for example, worked as a reporter for the Ylä-Kainuu newspaper and served as a visiting communications researcher and lecturer in England.
