According to recent EU statistics, 99 per cent of households with children have Internet access in Finland. The Netherlands reaches the same number. 76 per cent of all households in Finland have Internet access.
Looking at all households, the highest share of Internet connections is found in Sweden (83 per cent), followed by Denmark (80 per cent) and Finland (76 per cent).
The share of households with broadband Internet connections has doubled in the EU between 2006 and 2010. In 2006, 30 per cent of households had broadband connections, while in 2010, the proportion is 61 per cent
